This collection of intimate letters – submitted by anonymous women across the globe, curated and introduced by Gillian Anderson – dives deeper into what women everywhere think, feel and dream about in their most private moments. Spilling out of the bedroom, the letters take us to all spaces where desire resides, from office boardrooms to kitchen counters, school gates to forest floors. Bolder and more explicit, they come from over fifty nations and women from eighteen to eighty. Nothing is off limits: there are silken ropes and stirrups, metal collars and machines, neighbours, friends, in-laws and strangers, cravings to own and be owned, people to desire and be desired by, pleasure and pain in equal measure.
